The existing original kitchen was too small to accommodate a family of five.
A modest addition created a mudroom (with closet and built-in kids’ cubbies), an eat-in family room (with a built-in banquette), and a spacious working kitchen with breakfast bar, opened to a reconfigured butler’s pantry, including a half bath.
The kitchen features a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a Wolf cooktop with Zephyr range hood, two Miele dishwashers and Miele double wall ovens. The addition exterior borrows the stucco and batten motifs found in the original Tudor house and features a Marvin round-top mahogany entry door, similar to other round-top doors in the home.
The space is comfortable and functional for the routines of a family of five, and a great space for entertaining.
