This kitchen addition completely changed the owner's 1920's center entrance colonial. What was once an out-dated two-part kitchen meant to be hidden from the rest of the house became the airy heart of the home. A cook's kitchen with state of the art stainless steel appliances, simple cherry cabinets, a natural cork floor, and light granite countertops was built adjacent to a light-filled sitting area with window and deck access to the back yard. A desk for family organization and homework, a new half bath, and a rear-entry mud room combine to make the new room the true center of the home. |
