The Gallagher Remodeling Design-Build Process
When working with Gallagher Remodeling, you can count on a thorough, professional design-build remodeling experience from the initial consultation through to the final walkthrough.
Step one: we listen! During the initial consultation, we will inquire about your ideas and needs.
Once we have a good idea of what you want, we can offer suggestions based on our experience and show you similar projects we have completed providing examples of our workmanship and project costs.
As we move forward, the next step is the design phase. Our team, which includes designers and remodeling specialists, works closely with you to guide you through a decision making process. We help you identify preferences, priorities, and explore alternatives, and then we recommend solutions and finishes to achieve both your aesthetic and functional project goals.
One of the major cost variables in many renovation projects is the selection of items such as flooring, cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and appliances. We will work with you to ensure the proposed design meets your expectations and is within your budget.
- Options can be viewed and decided upon immediately.
- Revisions, if desired, can be quickly implemented.
- Design and cost estimating go hand-in-hand assuring that we stay within your budget.
Once we all agree on the design concept for your project, we will provide you with a detailed scope of work in a remodeling agreement for construction. Everything is spelled out and reviewed with you to identify remaining decisions or areas requiring more specificity or adjustment.
Upon approval of this agreement, we complete an even more detailed iteration of design work, to further clarify the project and to develop documentation and plans for permitting and construction.
Pre-Construction Walk Through
Before construction begins, you will meet with our construction staff and project manager to discuss the day-to-day logistics of our working in your home and any considerations unique to your living situation.
During the construction phase, the project manager will be your primary contact. Throughout the process you will receive regular updates as each aspect of the job is completed and notification of any details that need your attention.
Every effort is made to minimize disruption to your family, your living space, and your neighbors during construction.
Final Walk Through
A project is not complete until you are totally satisfied. During the final walkthrough, every detail of the project is reviewed. The competence and professionalism you have come to count on during the renovation project continues in the years following completion.
Our warranty is comprehensive. We stand by our work.
